Keene Wanda R. Smith High School Chargers and Lady Chargers athletes were recognized Tuesday night at the annual athletic awards banquet at the school’s cafetorium.
Freshman Navi Lopez was named winner of the girl’s 3D Award and senior Alik Aaron was named 3D Award winner for the boys. The award is presented to the athlete who bests exemplifies the qualities of determination, dedication and desire.
Most Valuable Player Awards were presented to:
• Jenna Bulles for girls JV basketball
• Brian Foley for varsity cross country
• Zyada Gonzalez for girls varsity basketball
• Manuel Gonzalez for boys varsity basketball and boys varsity track
• Stan Hidai for varsity tennis
