If you liked Johnny Cash, you'll enjoy a free tribute concert to him by Bennie Wheels at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hulen Park Gazebo in Cleburne.
Wheels began his career as an “Elvis” impersonator, but realized it was an over-flooded market. After the movie "Walk the Line" came out, he was drawn to the legend and music of Cash. He learned how to play the guitar and sing like Cash. His wife, Renee Wheels, performs as June Carter. They recapture the magic of Johnny and June.
Bennie Wheels will sing the songs of Johnny Cash in a free concert at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hulen Park in Cleburne. (Leyland Museum)
